Get a clickable link on your profile
TikTok only shows a clickable website link on eligible accounts, and the rules (account type, follower count, age) have changed several times. Open Edit profile and look for the Website field. If it isn't there, switching to a Business account is the usual route; check TikTok's help center for the current requirement.
TikTok Shop and outside affiliate links are different
TikTok Shop affiliate products are tagged inside the app and checkout happens on TikTok. Amazon, Walmart, Target and other retailer links live outside TikTok and go through your bio link. Many creators do both: TikTok Shop for products sold there, a storefront for everything else.
Make the bio link work for every video
Your bio link has to serve someone who watched today's video and someone who found a video from last spring.
- 1
Put every product you post about in one storefront.
- 2
Group recurring series into shelves (Amazon finds, Dollar store dupes, Gym fits).
- 3
Say the shelf name in the video and pin a comment like "Kitchen shelf, link in bio".
- 4
Feature the product from your newest video at the top of the store while it's getting views.
Watch what each video sends
InfluShop's analytics show which platform sent each click and which products get tapped, so you can tell which videos send buyers and re-post the formats that work.
Disclose clearly
Say it in the video or put it in the caption: "I earn a commission from links in my bio." FTC guidance asks for disclosures people will notice, not ones hidden in a hashtag pile.
